Eid Mubarak everyone!
How’s holiday going? I bet most of us feel lack of it. Through this post, I’d like to send you my apologize and surely I pray that we will be given a chance to meet the next Ramadan in a much better condition and faith.
About my school, current I am in 2nd semester holiday too and will be back to class on September 2013. Two semesters have passed, and I can say it was “pretty well” done. I had to face many challenges which can pump my adrenaline. Tight schedules for both of work and school drove me crazy, because in a week I ever experienced have three papers to be done, such participated in a Kerja-Rodi project. When I had to go out of town for business trip, I brought my books with me. At that time I rarely used the hotel’s bed in my room because I had to finish my paper and it’s hard to resist bed temptation, so I finished it on desk.
But overall, I say I have a great time in my graduate degree period. I met new friends, besties, lecturers, have new knowledge, something to be achieved, and many more. But the most important thing is I am working on my plan, something I’ve been dreaming of, even though it’s costly :D.
When you have dreams, keep the ambiance alive. Because sometimes, them fade away along with the hard reality if you don’t hold them tight.
It’s such a treasure when I found good friends that I can work and share things-beside-school-stuff with. Graduate school time isn’t merely about accomplish the study, but builds network too. No one will say it is easy to do your job and school at the same time. But, if we focus on the difficulties, we can’t enjoy the ride and chill.
Jumping from exact to social science environment was another issue. I got used to short and to-the-point answers, while social science asks the opposite. This adaptation gave me not-really-satisfy-IP for the 1st semester and I improved it on 2nd semester.
Pray me so I can graduate on time :). I pray good things happen for you too.
Peace be upon you..
